As we get closer to snowstorm season, our CI team is reminiscing on warmer (and greener) days… Check out the first portfolio company visit of our inaugural Tour de Connecticut this past August. 🚲 We started the 200-mile trek in Mystic, where we met with Enko Chem, a company developing novel products for farmers to protect their crops from pests and disease. 🌾 Founder and CEO Jacqueline Heard filled us in on how @enkochem is shaping the future of agriculture and crop protection, and Chief Science Officer Tom Meade gave us a personal tour of their facility which includes 89,000 square feet of state-of-the-art labs and greenhouses. 🔬 After refueling with some coffee and granola bars (shoutout Enko), we were back on the road…#tourdect
