On the final day of our Tour de Connecticut journey, we were joined by an epic crew, including Congressman Jim Himes, former Commissioner of DECD Alexandra Daum and our CI board chair Michael Cantor. We pedaled from New Haven to Milford to enjoy an early morning NA brew with our friends at Athletic Brewing Co. 🍺 Athletic Brewing is dedicated to crafting delicious non-alcoholic beer that people can enjoy anytime and anywhere, with no worries and no hangovers. CEO and co-founder Bill Shufelt gave us a tour of their 150,000 square foot facility, the largest NA brewery in the world. After a few taste tests, we were back on the road, refreshed and ready to ride. 🚲#tourdect

Before wrapping another day of our Tour de Connecticut journey, CEO Matthew McCooe sat down with Simon Kaluza, co-founder and CTO of Inbox Health, a digital health company in CI’s portfolio. 🚲 Inbox Health simplifies the patient billing experience with its online portal that provides secure access to patient statements, payments, and support, giving patients 24/7 access to an all-in-one bill pay application. 📩 The New Haven-based company made a recent move to District New Haven, officially making us neighbors. Halda-n’ to your hat for this part of the Tour de Connecticut. 🤠 We cruised down the Farmington Canal Trail from Southington to New Haven, just in time for our meeting with Halda Therapeutics, a biotech company developing RIPTAC™ therapeutics, a new class of precision medicines to defeat cancer. Chief Scientific Officer Kat Kayser-Bricker filled us in on the science behind Halda’s novel therapeutic mechanism and gave us a tour of the office and lab spaces. 🔬 We look forward to hearing more exciting news from this team in the future.#tourdect
